张中举，华盛顿大学商学院管理科学与信息系统博士，康州大学商学院副教授，MIS Quarterly客座副编辑，Decision Support Systems高级编辑，Journal of Database Management, Electronic Commerce Research and Applications, Information Technology and Management, Journal of Electronic Commerce Research等编委会成员。
张中举博士主要从事价格和网上市场的竞争；基于互联网的激励机制与用户行为；网络社区和社交媒体；IS/IT对个人，组织和社会的影响；IT运作风险管理；大数据分析等方面研究。在Decision Support Systems，Decision Sciences Journal， Journal of Management Information Systems，Information Systems Research，European Journal of Operational Research，ACM Transaction on Management Information Systems，IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management等杂志发表论文13篇。多次获得AIS学会及美国康州大学科研奖励。
